OpenTelemetry is a set of standards and tools for collecting telemetry and sending it to a monitoring service, where you can explore it in dashboards.
FastAPI provides OpenTelemetry support by default for HTTP request traces, metrics, and logs. WebSocket connections also provide traces and logs. To see that data, configure a monitoring service to receive it.
When you deploy to FastAPI Cloud with fastapi[standard], metrics work automatically. You don't have to configure anything else.
On Pro plans, you can view request counts, error rates, and response times in the Metrics dashboard.

News : Ollama now supports new Jev-style decision models
Ollama now supports decision models, based on TypeSafe’s Jev API for fast, typed decisions:
- No additional costs
- Lower latency when run locally
- Three new decision models available today via Ollama
This new API is available as of Ollama 0.35 by using the new /v1/systemone endpoint. Send text as state with a set of named questions, and a model running on your machine answers them all in one request. This is great for tasks that require fast decisions, such as ticket triage, model routing, and content or safety moderation.
Three new decision models are available to run via Ollama:
- nimble: open-source 9B parameter decision model developed by Bespoke Labs
- tev1: an experimental 4B decision model from Together AI
- tev1:0.8b: an experimental 0.8B decision model from Together AI
More decision models are coming soon, including models served by Ollama’s cloud.

Agent Plugins 1.0 is an open, vendor-neutral specification for packaging Agent Skills and MCP server configurations into a single reusable plugin. Package your capabilities once, then bring them into VS Code, GitHub Copilot CLI, the GitHub Copilot app, and other clients that support the standard.
The idea is simple: Build once. Use everywhere.
Agent plugins are prepackaged bundles of agent customizations that you can discover and install from plugin marketplaces in Visual Studio Code. Plugins work alongside your locally defined customizations. When you install a plugin, its supported customizations become available in the relevant agent interfaces.
Agent Plugins is an open standard for packaging agent skills and MCP servers that works across multiple AI agents, including GitHub Copilot in VS Code, GitHub Copilot CLI, and the GitHub Copilot app. VS Code also supports client-specific plugin capabilities, including slash commands, custom agents, rules, hooks, and automation templates. In an Agent Plugins package, most of these capabilities come from the com.github.copilot namespace. The existing Copilot and Claude plugin formats keep their own layouts.
