Tool : Grok Connectors

Grok Connectors are deep integrations that allow Grok (the AI assistant developed by xAI) to access and interact with external applications and data sources directly within a conversation. Launched on May 6, 2026, they are available on Grok Web, iOS, and Android for all users.

These connectors enable Grok to read, search, summarize, draft, edit, or perform actions across everyday tools without requiring constant copy-pasting or switching between applications. This transforms fragmented workflows into seamless experiences. For example, Grok can summarize emails, analyze spreadsheets, update calendars, review code repositories, or manage project tasks based on natural-language requests.

News : Grok : disappointed me with the audio part.

Today I tested the text to audio conversion part and I was disappointed. I used the same text on an image from the Star Trek Online game and then used a python script to combine the videos.

Grok is one of the most tested AIs on the animation side by me. I use it for content and testing and I can say that it is limited to converting text to audio, gymnastic moves with animals: jumping over your head... It is easy to be misled by animated combinations of words. I control the movement part between the character and the rendered camera mode quite well. What disappointed me the most is the audio part. This is the text I used with Grok AI , bad sound result: She is confident and introduces herself to the audience with these words: "Hello, Captain, I'm Beverly Crusher, born Beverly Howard on October 13, 2324, in Copernicus City, Luna. I attended Starfleet Academy from 2342 to 2350. Some people call me the Dancing Doctor."

News : ChatGPT fails miserably and Grok Beta is a super winner.

ChatGPT fails at tasks in image processing. I tried to use a sprite image of about 19 x 7 sprites with a character as input and it returned a similar image with the same number of sprites but modified according to the 3D position of the character in each sprite

After a few days, until a week with the use of its limitation, I didn't manage to take any images at all.

Grok, however, managed to correctly go through the changes in proportion of 88% of the number of sprites, the other 12% are approximately 80%, in four queries, it seems that from the third query he started to forget and come up with a simplistic combination with a few characters, I came back with the input with the image and I barely got this percentage. The whole process took less than four minutes with my typing.

Grok is designed to answer questions with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak, so please don’t use it if you hate humor!
